I don't own them anymore but when I did I just ran cut collars on both of em, I saw my little snuff dog get slung 4 + ft off the ground a couple times but he never seemed to worried about it, I think that them being as small as they are its harder for a hog to really hurt em to bad, sure they will get cuts here and there but thats part of the game. I know wildboarusa.com offers a terrier vest and im sure it is built as solid as the rest of their supplies, very solid quality gear, just dropped another 100$ on their site this morning

I only run cut collars in mine. I feel a vest will slow them down. For the most part they are quick enough to avoid a rank boar. I had one that was straight catch he got cut once, but it was in a muddy creek, I believe he wasn't fast enough in the mud. My 2 cents

I agree with the vest more than likely slowing them down, mine got cut here and there but never anything too bad, that are some rank little rascals. I really enjoyed them little dogs but a man offered me more than I could refuse for my 2 and with a little one on the way I woulda been a fool to say no. awesome fearless little animals!

i had hardcore make a vest for one that was really suicidal rough. He was cut about fifty times before and several that took a vet to fix. one little boar cut him nine times one required surgery. after i ran the vest i noticed no reduction in mobility but the vest is cut up pretty good no more serious cuts.I would not run one without myself jagd or otherwise. that vest will save a dog most times and just let them get used to it and they will adapt.jmo

I guess it depends on how gritty your jagd is.
