Went out yesterday morning with Danny and his old lady out to one of spots and after some hard hunting Danny's axle dog jumped a good boar. We had a good bit of dogs on the ground and everyone was doing their own thing near by and got to axle quick and the bay broke. Had a little race with all the dogs on the ground and got him stopped. It was def one of the better bays I ve heard in a while. The boar decide to stop on the edge of the clear cut with 8 dogs baying him. Axle,kd,miller,lacy,willie (7 month old of Danny's), girl(brindle bitch I have), Waylon, goose. We figured it was a good hog being that they were singin him a beautiful tune. We could hear it half mile away. Took us about 30 mins to go to them and they held him there. Walked in with lane(Danny's catch dog) got about 20 yards away and the dogs were workin him. Turned lane loose, ran in and Danny got him flipped and tied while me and his old lady round up the pups. It was a damn good way to end the day with this guy. Had a fun hunt as always and the pups did really good and some good work for them. Here's some pics.. What's y'all's guess on weight???  |

Awesome pictures and story Colby ! Man that's a good one ! I'm terrible at guessing weight it looks smaller then the 900lb hog that tried to eat me the other day ( inside joke ) I'm gonna guess .. 250lbs ??

Haha Chris I think that 900 lber is still roaming waiting on you! Lol but your guess is what I guessed too 250. After watching the weigh in last week really has me timid on guessin weights now lol |
