Well this past weekend peaches invited me to go make a run at a new high fence ranch he picked up. We drive a good 6 hours and meet up with the fellas to talk about the hunt at a restaurant. As we pull up we see about 40 dogs. I asked surely they aren't going too right? Well during lunch we asked the owner about the dogs and sure nough they were going as well. We went to plan B and To the hill country we went. Jp was nice enough to have us down for the weekend on a last min hunt.

We finally get to Jp house after all day driving and load up for a hunt with some hill country hounds and they didn't disappoint. We caught 7 hogs Friday night behind em and they never missed a beat. They were what ppl say "sure nough" hog dogs. Some of the best I ve seen.

Saturday comes and we load up again and drop the dogs Travis ann dog takes out and strikes a hog and the race is on finally get it bayed across the way and send some help to her and catch a little boar hog. End up loadin up after that to take a nap and hit some fields that night.

Night time comes after some good sleep and we go out with some hill country hounds and a couple of Travis and my dog. Rollin through fields and Jp spots a good boar hog and we dump the dogs and the red piranhas had him in a bind in less then a 100 yards. Kill it move on and caught another. Had one hell of time and appreciate peaches and Jp lettin me tag along.

Always enjoy looking at your hunts lacy man. Those running dogs you and your friends hunt remind me of exactly what myself and hunting partners were striving for years ago. Great looking hounds.
