Man it a lot harder that's why it's smaller it gets hot really fast and seams to take longer to cool down then I had to have to send it to someone to temper it kind of a pain.

I was wondering the same. That's kinda why I just stayed with the old school carbon steel. We have 9 major knifemakers up here close to me in the Portland Or. area and I could get the cryo done but I hate to pay for something when I just give the knives away.

The stainless is the way to go in my opinion put man it's so expensive you just don't find it either like you can good carbon
