Anybody bought a refurbished Astro 220 or 320, what kinda luck did you have with it, and where'd you get it?

I broke mine on a hunt, and don't want to buy a new one since I plan on upgrading before long. Man my 220 lasted for years, but I reckon I ran over it for the last time  Grin

Contact Garmin directly you can send yours in for a repair if its not repairable then you can purchase a refurbished one from them directly.  My 320 was out of warranty, got caught in a rainstorm and the screen was half full of water I sent it back in and purchased a refurbished one from them. I have had no problems with it.

I also had a dc50 that the hog either cut or bit the antenna to the GPS and damaged it send it back into Garmin out of warranty and for a hundred bucks they replaced it with a brand new one.

My first handheld was a refurbished 220 after a bit I seen cabelas had a good deal last year for astro 320 and a dc 50 for400 so I jumped on it. But I've had some problems some night I have to recalabrite a few times a night on the astro 320 and I loose communication more. I wish I would have kept my 220 and my dc 40. But I'll make due with what I got.  All in all the astro 220 was better for me then my brand new 320 . Also the dc 40 was the better collar in my opinion.

i think the ones on ebay are a little cheaper. you can get the long range replacement antennae for the collars on there for super cheap, you just have to screw it on yourself

I have 4 or 5 collars that need work, can I send them to double u, or straight to garmin, and I had a refurbished 220, I had no problems at all.
