That is a great question! I always thought that those would be the best catchdogs. I am really interested in seeing some of them.

I have one that is bred down from catching stock. Over 20 yrs of linebred dogs. He is 75# in shape. Gotta go a long way back to game dogs. Purpose has been the whole reason behind the breedings. But I got him because his parents were the 2 best I have hunted behind. I have had as good a game dogs as there are and had limited success with them as catchdogs so I changed. I have semen in the bank from a grandson of Blackjack and Gator and will put it over a gyp from the catchdog stock at some point. It may drop the size some but I feel it could use an infusion of different blood.

Any pics of him wayout that you wouldn't mind posting I would like to see him. If he is off of the dog I think he is then I bet he is a good looking sob. I have kind of thought the same thing since I started hunting hogs.

I am not able to post pics but he is on here somewhere. He's a yellow ring necked brindle with little black spots under his skin on the white.
