Friday evening we kicked out after work around 330. We were going on a quick hunt to see how the dogs acted n for exercise purposes. Well, 10 minutes in we were bayed up in the middle of an old cutover that was head high in saw briars. I attempted to tear through them to get there but stopped about 60 yds short because I was afraid of bleeding out. Jk my dad n wife come by on the rhino tearing the thicket down so I caught a 35 yd ride with them. We get to the boar, throw him n tie him. The dogs were already gone n By the time we load him up they are burning one up little over a mile away. We get to around 100 yds n can tell they are having problems keeping the hog stopped. Turn Patches n Sheba loose to go help out. Caught hog. Begin tearing my way thru another dang briar thicket. Finally get to the hog n we tie him n catch the dogs n call it a day a little before sundown.

Sunday at 2pm we dropped n a promising looking spot. Dogs go around 900 n jump a group of hogs. Dogs go n every direction. We sit around for about 15 mn n they light up treed around .75. We had an older gentleman with us n he was determined to stick him a hog. We send the dogos n caught hog. The hog was caught under a small overhang. Nice sow about 150 n Mr Townsend got his stick. Get everything situated n the other dogs are bayed back close to where we started. Haul butt over there n they had em a sounder bayed up about 50 pounds. Called it a day n left before dark again.
