So I know I have read about this before on this site but I have not been able to find it in the "search" section.
Question is in your opinion does the bulldog hold with his canines or his jaw teeth? I have only been hunting about 6 years and I hunt with two guys that have been hunting 25+years each and they both when the bulldog looses his canines he is done when it comes to holding a caught hog.
What is your opinion and what do you base it on?

Just speaking from my own experience, my own bulldogs I've had in the past, just cannot hold a hog as well when they loose their canines. My present dog Ketch has lost two & he is much easier to get off then he used to be.

My bulldog ended up losing 2 of her canines but she learned to grab with the side of her mouth and I never had a problem I hunted her for 9 years now she is a retired house dog
