I had two Plott legends come down to hunt with me. Tom Telford & Greg Michels. Perfect timing because I had a invite from two friends Joe Ramagoes & TJ Sapia to hunt their property. This is like the Promised Land, I mean Hog Heaven. It is infested with hogs. Good friends Brad Huff & my buddy Charlie Gaines were on the hunt.
Charlie has been making the switch to Plotts that I have given him & Joe & TJ have already seen the light. They have already gone to all Plotts.
We are headed down the road & I spotted a real good track in the road. After about 10 minutes we got the track where he left the road & put a couple of dogs down. They were having trouble lining it out but Flash finally got it straight & was able to jump the hog. He ran him about a mile or so & he would bay & the hog would break. We got a couple more dogs into him  & they caught a 175# boar with 2" cutters in the middle of a field. Tom saw a good boar cross the road so we put out on him & that hog led us to a group of hogs & the dogs split up. We were following Bonny & she would bay & break. Brad turned his cur dog in & I turned a young dog in & they bayed another good boar with 3" cutters. TJ turned his Dogo in & caught hog. Went to catch up with others & TJ & Joe had two more hogs caught. Another 200# boar & about a 100# boar. Flash had rolled out with another hog & he was out of pocket. We caught up to some of the other Plotts & caught some others. It is all running together & it is hard to keep up with them. We followed Brad's cur dog & found him in the ship channel on top of a hog. Brad was able to call him out but we could not retrieve the hog. When we finally caught up with Flash, Tom & Greg said he had been bayed over a hour & we went in & caught about a 120# boar. On the way out dogs caught another 100# boar in the water.
We were trying to figure out how many hogs we had. There are 9 pictured but there were probably 2 or 3 more shoats that the dogs caught that we could not retrieve. All in all, we had a action packed day & were done by about 3:00.
Big thanks to TJ & Joe for the invite.
We saw a monster running down the road & my Grandson Ethan takes off after him. After a mighty footrace Ethan finally catches up to the beast only to have him turn around & charge him. After a mighty battle with it chewing on Ethans boot, he was able to break him off & capture the mighty beast.
The boar that was 2nd from the left had real good tusks but we forgot to prop his mouth open for a good smile & he had stiffened up so his tusks are not shown. I have never seen a group of all boars together but when the dogs ran that one boar into the group, they were all boars that the dogs rolled out on.

Thanks everybody. It is always nice when you are in hogs.
Highwater, the gators are out for sure. We might make one or two more trips on a cool morning but the marsh is just about done for us. What part of the country are you from?

That's crazy for sure... I've never seen that many boars running together either.

Out of the top pic. the only sow is the little guilt on top of the second & 3rd hog. All the rest are boars, even the little striped pig. It was a male bonding kind of day. Also not pic. was the hog Brad's dog drowned in the ship channel. Could not get to him.
