Good point! I've only used it on dead hogs and today my 2 dogs decided they were gonna spend the night in the forest and not come home but if I get a chance to give it try on a live hog I will let you know how it goes!

What? You don't know the Rapa-Tapa-Hooey? Everybody that is cool knows the Rapa-Tapa-Hooey. Even some not cool people like me know it! (Smack talk) Maybe one day you can join the Rapa-Tapa-Hooey club.

Howzit guys! I'm not sure how many of you have seen our "packing" style here in Hawaii but majority of the places we hunt have no roads which means you throw the pig on your back and piggyback it to the truck! Most guys here go with the few hitches route but me being me and always looking to do things a little different have been using "Israeli Ropecuffs". It is a simple knot and you just tie off the 2 loose ends and throw the pig on your back. I am not sure how it would work on a live hog because you can get the ropes VERY tight and a live hog with no legs won't be worth much at the buying station (At least I wouldn't think so). Here is a picture of my cousin packing a fatty sow and then I will post a video of how to tie your own ropecuffs. Try it out on your friends or to detain an intruder while you coughtorturecough wait for the police to show up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzB7RV4bKnUI have seen this packing style before but it was used on dead hogs. What keeps you from getting a wetter upside your head if a live boar starts to struggle? Or a tuck for that matter? You wrap a shirt around or towel around his mouth tape it shut tape it shut again and one more time for good luck so u keep your face then put a rope aound his mouth n pull it to your shoulder last start walking n praying that the tape don't come off hell bang against your head but that's why you put the towel n the rope to pull his head Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk

Tieing is very simple people tend to make simple things hard. 3 pc of rope arms length will do. First double it run the working end through the loop on one leg you can add a half hitch if you want but not needed. Run the working ends over the next leg come under and over with the tails suck tight tight off with a surgens knot. Repeat I will usely tie the last hind leg off to the other leg with the ends. Snout tie one rope put the middle in the mouth behind the teeth loop around counter clock wise around the bottom jaw tie off done

It's obvious everyone has their own ways, so I'll share mine. I also use 3/8 mule tape. 2 circular piece will work. I'm going to demonstrate with headphones so bare with me. Place your hand inside the loop and grasp Pull the loop over your hand which now leaves a circle. Cinch down Keep a small amount of tension with a dog leash or another piece of tape n he won't go anywhere Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
