There use to be a fella in these parts that went by the name earl Chastain. I wouldn't know if he still alive or not he ran coon with my uncle and pee paw for many yr. I was just wandering if any one new of the man he was always doing stuff that seemed bigger then life when I was a kid. He sure could hunt and fish. My uncle just passed few months back and ain't thought of that old man in a good while.

siberian laika    he's ugly and I have to shear him when hot but he flat trees squirrels and tree's coon in the daytime ....... I bought him from carlton savoie in baton rouge ........if squirrels is moving in good viney timber you can kill 20 or so  in a few hours .....

Nice parker. I got bunch of spots that are over run with coon I got ten showing up at feeders they thick. Not many coon hunted any more round here. If some had a decent dog they could have some good times

Too bad we so far away judge. There's a coon hunter around every turn here. Them rascals will sure enough put some feed down. Parker that's pretty dang awesome. I do enjoy squirrel hunting with dogs. It's a good way to get the youngins into dog hunting also

No sir i dont know him. Im north of college station about 10 minutes from hearne tx.  I kno of most the coon hunters that are left around here but that name doesnt ring bells.
