Well Sunday morning me and Daws kicked out with a boy I gave a dog a while back. Kid got burned on a dog by a boy I know and wanted nothing more than to catch a few hogs so I sent him a young plott dog I thought would make a hand(and so far he is). Turned out on this ranch dogs hunting around good. My kate gyp and his shady dog pulled out to about 350-400 about 20 minutes in and sounded off. Other dogs showed up and they stretched a little 60lb sow out. Sent weezy but he must have got hung up cause we already had the hog dead by the time he got there.  No sooner do I get this picture take. I check the garmin and kate was rollin hard. Pulled out to .86 and dropped the hammer.  Head her way and other dogs go to her. They stayed bayed little over an hour and we got about 150, could tell they were in a tank fighting so cut weezy and was on his ass. He went left on the tank dam and I went right and he got hooked up right in the shallow water. Jumped in and stabbed about a 150 lb boar then let the dogs have their fun. He wasn't hurting nothing so we just stuck him and let them stay caught till he died. Glad to finally get my hands on a hog. Number 1 and 2 on the year. |

Chris, I'll say nothing more about her other than I like her a lot and she is consistent thus far and I do not have to hunt for her and those are what it takes to earn a spot on my team.

Going for number 4,5,6,7,8,9 and maybe 10 in the morning haha. I really will be hitting the woods and probably ain't gonna leave till I put a few on the ground. Anybody want to turn out with me in Schulenburg Texas holler. I'll be walk hunting unless someone has a rig. Plenty of property to hunt
