Made a round this morning before the rooster hunters hit the woods in morning.  Right off bat we caught a boar hog and cut and released him.  Then they caught a shoat and killed it.   Then we got a big sow bayed and killed for the freezer.   Made another turn out and caught this Barr me and my boy marked two summers ago about 6 miles from there.  That ole Barr tried to meet that Dogo coming down the bank to him.   Lol.  He got his fellings hurt and ole trump made the squel come out in him.  Dogs put a many of mile on their feet today.  Gonna give em a few weeks off I believe.  Y’all take care and be safe.

That's a great way to wind it down. I get frustrated when turkey season rolls around because the dogs are in pretty good shape and then you have to lay them up and they get soft again.

Good hunting. That spot is sure fat, I like that sportsmanship attitude of catch and release.

Good hunt... I’m glad we don’t have any turkeys around here. Deer season is long enough haha!
