I invited a buddy to come up and hunt with me last Sat. It rained really good Thurs and Fri, but stopped late Fri night. We got to the woods about 7:30 Am or so, unloaded his nice new double seater Polaris Ranger....

and started driving around. I had just told him I never see any hogs that a dog isn't caught or bayed on when two shoats run across the road in front of us!
He turned two of his dogs loose hoping there were bigger hogs we didn't see, but his dogs wound up catching a 20-25 lb gilt.
We then moved and his dogs hunted out good. We had them at about 350 yards in front of the Ranger "treed" so went to them. They had about a 50 lb boar hog caught in the briars. In fact, both hogs were caught in briars...........
I am using Dan's pics for this post, my camera was in my truck and we were in his Polaris most of the day. He took a real pretty pic of a tidal creek running between some hammocks, that is in the place we were hunting. Here is that pic and pics of the two small hogs we caught that day with his dogs.
