josh and i went for a hunt tonight at 11 o clock .
we walked around next doors on the wheat fields trying to find some hogs we went on the first paddock and didnt see nothin so we headed for the next paddock.
we got on there and walked around we walked right through the middle looked around everywhere but no nothin . we gave the dogs a qucik drink od water at a dam and i sadi we will back track see how we go . on the way back straigh away massacre started gettin ansy (keen, crazy ) then lil roly did a while after they were pullin on the chains but we couldnt see no frsh sign .
we kept walkin then josh said to me is there any fresh tracks here i put on the light but there was no tracks but i put the light in the field and there stood about 7 or 8 hogs we let the dogs loose and run for the hogs .
at first we heard a little squeal massacre had killed a slip (shoat) and a big hog hit her . lil roly was on his own hog a good one about 65 kg , and massacre went after this big hog about 220lbs (100kg) she batled it for a bit but realised she couldnt handle it by herself and went back to help lil roly .
they both hit the hog and we went in and finished the job walked home got the ute and went and picked up the hog .
it was a good hunt we got a hog and massacre had her first run in with a big hog by herself with a bit more experience she should be able to handle big hogs by herself . lil roly did great also holdin a good size hog by himself for a few minutes while mas was fightin another but he is used to it lol.
