Last hog of the year came on the 31st after hunting hard in the rain for 6hrs. Me, Jake, Phillip, Scott and his girlfriend. We hunted a place on the sulfer river where Phillip and Scott had killed 9 the week before, by the time we made it back out there there was alot of water in the woods and fields. On the way back to the truck I saw a patch of high ground in the distance and determined to catch a hog I took Daisy over there with me. It didnt take Daisy long to get bayed down the hill in front of us about 75 yds. I had let my Max and Stroke pups loose as I was walking torward the high ground (Mistake). When Daisy started baying the two pups bolted toward her, the bay broke, we heard Daisy coming right at us WIDE OPEN! Phillip let Chewy go (his CD). We look up about twenty yards in front of us, we see this 180 pound Boar run into Chewy nose to nose! KNOCKED CHEWY COLD SLICK OUT!!!!! that hog never even slowed down. Chewy woke up about 45 seconds later and joind the chase. Dogs bayed the hog in a deep creek about 200 yards into the woods, my two pups got hung up on a fence, but chewy didnt! , he got in there and caught that hog and boy was he mad! Phillip stuck the hog rather quickly< Chewy had a good cut on his leg and his right eye was swollen shut. Pups finally made it and Jake got some good video! So ends our last hunt of the year and closed us out at 275 total for the year. We had a good year hunting with many of you fellas out there. We look forward to meeting new friends and catching lots of hogs in the comming year!

man I remember way back when Chewy was my buddies house dog. I would have never imagined he would make as good of a catch dog as he has. That pit is hog crazy!

Good hogs and good hunt... I dont know why my pictures wont resize on Photobucket but I will post a few anyway.
I always open my pics with paint, click on "image" at the top, and the go to stretch/skew and resize, then post of photobucket. There's probably an easier way, but I'm not smart enough to figure it out.

Clay was ready to roll Sunday, We caught 3 more. Clay bayed a Big Group of hogs in a thicket so thick our CD's couldnt get to the hogs to catch, all the hogs blue out and took all the dogs with them. Three hogs snuck out the back about 10 feet from us and all three were BIG BOARS with TEETH . One of Scotts CD's (Baby) got beat up pretty bad but she should be ok in a couple of weeks
