Was up in N. Fl for the weekend, so I figured I might as well bring the dogs and catch one while I am up there.

So I went out this morning on my buddies place on the suwannee river. Bella had one bayed real quick but it broke and she came back after a while.
About half an hour later I see a deer run by her and about a minute later she started barkin, so I figured she was trashing, BUT then I heard a hog grunt so I turned Doc loose, and then I hear ALOT of hogs grunting. I ran up and there was 10 BIG hogs in a circle with Doc caught on the smallest one about 200 pounds, and a LARGE bar about 350 had Doc by the back of the neck shaking the number 2 out of him.
My buddy had a 9mm and started shootin at the big bar but he never went down. The group scattered and Bella took of and had one bayed about 100 yards off.
So I killed the one Doc had caught and he took off towards Bella but he caught one inbetween two downed oak trees while Bella was bayed on another one 20 feet away. I killed that one and he went and caught the one Bella had bayed, and she took off and had another one bayed once Doc caught the 3rd one that was about 250.
Bella ended up about a half mile away across two nasty cypress sloughs so I just waited until she came back.

It was the craziest hunt I have ever been on!!!!

The 3rd hog we caught

Luckily none of them had any teeth to speak of.
I was surprised with how good he did, I guess figured out he was close to gettin the boot and pulled somethin out of his ass

I was up there this weekend and it sure is wet. The lady at the store that I ate breakfast said they got 9 inches of rain last week.

Good hunt.

It didnt look like we got a lick of rain at my place, I heard there was a couple of stores in Ft. White that got flooded out though.
