Somewhere in Texas

, A group of us, Aladatrot, Matt_Aggie, Mike, Clay, JML, and our coon ass friend Wesley, got together last night for a "puppy" hunt. With the exception of one seasoned dog, we had all young started dogs on the ground.
We turned out at one property(between Beaumont and El Paso), and hunted a couple hours without any action. On the way back to the truck Mike said we needed to hit his honey hole. Good thinking on his part, bayed up a small one, then the dogs bayed up another one pretty quickly. After that we all headed out of the woods, and we were camped out waiting on Matt's "Token"

pup. This pup has been on several bays, but has never struck his own. Well it was his night. All the other dogs were camped out, and the pup went to hammering away a couple hundred yards in the brush. Ended up with about an 80# boar.
We decided to load up, get some grub , and head for a new property ( Between Brownsville and Dallas). At the new place we rode the fourwheelers about 2.5 miles into the property and the dogs bayed up near a pond. Got a nice spotted sow, might go 180#, we got her tied and loaded, then the dogs opened up again. Another nice sow, maybe 160#, then again, and again, and again. We ended up with 8 for the night, 2 nice sows, and 6 smaller pigs, including a little spotted shoat. At the new place, all the hogs were bayed and caught within about 200 yards of each other.
It was a great night for some young dogs, plenty of action, no long races, and nobody hurt.We were real pleased with our Tyson dog, we have only had him on a few catches prior to last night, and last night he was on 5 of them.
Here are some pictures of the pigs from the second location.
