Striker and Hunter are 14 months old now and doing good. Hunter, the brindle one, matured faster and has had a lot more woods time and been on a lot more hogs than his brother. Striker has a lot of hunt in him, but has a deer fetish... i'm working on that. Grin

I was thinking about these two on my drive home today and how they hunt now and wondering what they will be like in a year from now.  While the brindle pup is my favorite right now and a pretty dang honest dog at such a young age I can't help but think that his brother is going to give him a run for his money once he gets his mind right.  The brindle dog at 6 months old was more mature than the black dog is now, but the black dog really likes to stick that nose down and go see what he can find.  If he gets to where he starts putting all his brain power into finding hogs I think Striker is gonna be tough to beat.

Great physical confirmation on those curs.  Love those long legs and deep chest.

goose,

The black dog on the right is the momma to these pups, she also happens to be the daughter of Mike's Tweety dog.

That brindle dog did real well on saturday,  very impressive for a young dog.   I cant remember exactly but i think that was one of dogs that hung in there chasing that 4th hog bout 2 miles.  either way great young dog.
