Try being sneaky next time you put them out. I always worry about people steeling feeders, stands, and so on. So I hide them and they work better because the animals feel safer and go to my spots. My favorite hunting spot is near a neighbor that feeds the deer by hand. What a chump. But there are two houses so I do not worry about my smell. The problem is if the neighbor found out I was killing his poor deer he may do something. So I make sure he has no clue!

Hogs are smart animals and if they have been traped b4 or seen another hog in a trap they know what it is and know to avoid it. like the other guy said, try to hide it and make it blend in with the surroundings and try to put it on the edge of a woodline to help nature conceal it. ask the guy if you can run dogs on his property and try catching them with dogs.
