hi yall im new to the post, im 17 only been dog huntin bout 3 years, but its come to my attention that , not to be lecturing anybody, but i believe that we should leave sows in the woods, we all love to hunt hogs right, well if u keep taking all the sows out the woods, ther will be no more hogs to repopulate. yes i know hogs do alot of damage, but ther wont be any hogs for young up incoming hunters

100 percent of the land owners who allow us to hunt expect us to kill/remove each and every hog we can. gotta keep them happy or they won't let us back. besides, i don't think anybody's got enough dog power to wipe out the feral hog population. they're as resilient as cockroaches.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you Jeff, but each to his own. sounds like a good hunt.

we are expected to kill all to thats why landowners let us out there to do a job but its good to know people are turning them loose so we can kill em if it was up to me i would bar and turn loose too except some sows for freezer
