Me and my buddy Rooster went to the lease to check the cams and figured we would take the dogs just in case we ran across something. Nothing was on the cameras so I told him to go to a place we really havent been in a while. We turned in by our camp and went about 150 yards and looked down a little further and there was about 5 hogs in the middle of the rd. We killed the truck and collared up the dogs. They were still sitting there so we let loose. They took off and we had this sow caught in about 10 minutes. Not bad for the 2nd hog with our dogs. I was proud of them.

150 lb sow we got

My red gyp. First hog in the woods with her.

The dogs were hot after we got done. Real humid that day.

All in all a good quick hunt for the pups.

She is a cur gyp. she has got some mt. cur in her. Just about all the dogs out of that line are red. Some come with 3/4 bob tails. The daddy of them is a jam up dog.
