We went Friday night and caught this sow, the dogs ran her for over an hour before she finally stopped, Goober and Forrest bayed her and Herman our jr CD caught her.

We marked and turned her out at a different location...

Saturday night the hubby went here in Okee and caught 3, his buddies dogs caught theirs close range but leave it to our bunch to run over a mile to get theirs lol...Forrest took a beating but he is going to be OK, he is in the pen recuperating with the help of a little pain med and antibiotics.

Here is one of the little hogs they kept to work the puppies on

Our ringneck puppies just turned 5 months old and this is their second hog, the hound and yellow female have been on 3 hogs so far and are going to start riding next weekend - they are approx. 6.5 months old.  We hobbled him to keep him from busting through the fence until he was a little winded but unfortunately all I got was the first minute or so and then my camera died  Sad

Last but not least is a 3.5 ft cotton mouth they killed, were going to get him mounted....the pic doesnt really do him justice.

I also wanted to update you guys on Sandy, the little tan/white female we had up forsale...my husband took her a few weeks ago and she was slamming hogs in the short cane and was helping catch but she unfortunately got too close to the road while hunting and was hit by a car...RIP Sandy Pandy

We've been super busy but good with the rediculous work schedules.  The cotton mouth freaked me out, I have only saw one snake that size before...he was HEALTHY.

Thanks for the kind words about Sandy, it was a definate  disappointment Sad and I will keep you in mind if we run into any dogs.

We do not typically turn them out due to the owners not wanting them and the wardens being so bad (actually had our "permit" checked for the first time), but we had a place to take her so she got lucky lol.
