Has anyone ever heard of Artemis Maximal or ever used it what y'all think of it? I started us it last month switch from using Black Gold. Artemis makes Diamond and Eagle Pack dog food as well and there one of the few that haven't sold them self to big dog food company's. Artemis is 42% protein and 22% fat. It has NO GRAIN at all. Plus also the only thing that get from China is some of the minerals but that's cause there isn't a way around it here in the states but they test it all before using, so good to know its all made here in the US. For the next couple months ill be watching how the dog do on it but let me tell you they LOVE IT. Its seem to be the closest thing to feeding them raw meat. Some other ones that Ive found that are just as good as the Artemis brand is Taste Of The Wild, Wellness, Solid Gold, and Orijen. Anyone use any of these?

Here some good info http://www.dogfoodscoop.com/10-best-dog-food.html

Ya its a lot of protein but since it has no junk and a lot of meat in they digestive it good. It only comes in a 30lb bag Sad and I paid $45 a bag for it. Its not cheap. I know taste of the wild is $40 too for only a 30lb bag. If you look for it online you'll see it for sale for like $60-80 a bag but just find a local store that carries it. I'm gonna see if I can buy a pallet so its cheaper. But for a 50lb dog you only feed them 2 cups a day so the bag doesn't go as fast as you think.

Ya they say if any of the dogs got skin allergies this food works wonders

that looks real close to the sport mix original formula puppy food that i feed all my dogs heres a link to look at     http://www.sportmix.com/dog/originalPuppyMiniMorsels.tpl     i switched back and forth between several hipro mixes but they all had some filler or soy in them that i didn't like. Also it took a little time to get the dogs use to the sportmix it would give them the runs like they were eating raw meat if you've ever feed raw meat. i'm payin 21$ for a 40# bag   plus their stool has a lot less odor and falls apart faster.  some of the other soprtmix food have fillers and soy in them only the( original formula puppy) look like the artemis your lookin at there looks like a good food to me..        (correction)  21$ for a 35# bag
