This hog has been showing up at my dad's lease stealing all of his corn so I'm gonna try and take him out with my bow.

Well, I sat up in a tree stand with my bow pretty much all weekend and the damn thing never showed up! I put out some soured corn mixed with Hog Wild and some other oats and stuff. Hopefully he shows up some time during the week and comes back looking for more. I saved a little of my batch of stuff to put out this weekend and wait for him again.

Keep trying. Sooner or later he'll screw up and be there for you. He sure looks like a good one too.

Well, I sat out there again most of the weekend and once again he was a no show. How wise are hogs when it comes to being hunted? The property owners wont let me run dogs which I would prefer. So I have resorted to using a traditional treestand. There is an enclosed deerblind about a hundred yds away I could use but I would prefer to use my bow.

Will red lights keep him away? I heard that they wouldnt so I set some up since the area doesnt receive enough moonlight to be able to see well, even on a full moon.

I believe it.  You can have them coming 4 nights in a row on camera and you go sit there and try to get um, guess what, they aint showing up.  LOL  Some of them big boys are alot smarter than people think.
