105.3 is not the best but at least it is mainly new Texas country and some really good Texas country.  98.1 out of Austin plays more 80's country than any other I've heard.

There aint been a whole lotta country on that stage in a long time!

I stick to the oldies and just recently found 105.3 after a friend told me about it. It aint bad at all. I caught the back end of a song called "Mule therapy" the other day. I sure liked it but I dont have a clue who was singing it.

T Bob

97.1 in Beaumont is the best old country I have heard in a while. I can't hear it in Freeport but once I get to Alvin I can pick it up. You should be able to pick it up in Houston. Also below is the computer address if you want to listen on your computer. This way you can be anywhere and pick it up as long as you have the net...

I checked it out and 105.3 is now on my preset buttons in my truck. I lose, the signal at downtown Houston but I'd rather listen to fuzzy Texas country than crystal clear Kieth Urban.

97.1 is good but if you listen for three days you'll notice they only own eight hours worth of music and they loop it on a three day cycle. Good hearted attempt though. Hell I listen to talk radio mostly anyway

I can tell when Mandi has been listening to talk radio, she comes into the office in a foul mood, bitching about the democrats mostly, and politicians in general too. Grin

Remember with today's estimates 75 % of America population lives in the city. Us 'country bumpkins" are a vanishing bred.

if i didnt know hootie was already a country singer i probably wouldnt have written that, i dont like his brand of soft rock "country" , thats why i called him hootie instead of darius rucker.

my grandpa told me if everybody liked the same thing, every body would be trying to get a piece of grandma.
