So we got out at about 6:30 in the morning and made some runs through the woods without any luck, the dogs picked up on a sow with a bunch of piglets but had no luck catching them, walked a bunch more and went through a sandpit because we heard the dogs on the other side. So we went back to the truck and met up with some friends and decided to make another quick run, the dogs found a group of over 20 hogs but caught this little guy. If you look close you can see how our RCD tore off the hogs snout, he probably weighed a little over 40 pounds. We didnt get to catch us a big one but at least I was able to get out to the woods for the first time in a long time, I also took the male pup I just got and he did really good, he kept up with us and the other dogs. Well here are some pics I took.

Me and our Willie who took Hanks place.

Heres the pup

Smokey our catch dog

Part of the Sandpit we had to cross

Des, we only took the male pup, we didnt have any more room for the female but next time im going to take them both. The male did pretty good I watched him close, he put his nose down and went out with the other dogs every now and then. I cant wait until the next hunt  Grin
