Hunt with dubbleRdawgs

Well Mr. Robert dubbleRDawgs and i got together saturday evening to do a quick hunt. I was as most no curious in watching and learning the lead in catch dog style type of hunting. He offered his dogs and style to come hunt. Well We had a crew i had my bro and two buddys and with him was his i believe son in law. As for dogs he has three bay dogs and to catch dogs. I had my one loose baying gyp weda and my bro had his dog gunner that we thought was loose for our style. As we were going into the fields far from the woods we were expecting to hunt, My buddy spotted a group of hogs off to the right of us about 800 yards. They were down wind. We unlatched dogs and started heading that way. All dogs except the bulldogs headed over to where they were fast when we got about 400 yards out. My weda dog cut off to the left across the field totally oppisite from where we were headed and went .75 miles due south facing the wind. Well The dogs that went straight to that group all split except my bros dog gunner and mr. Roberts dog yellow. I guess even with what we called loose dogs we were wrong. They caught with only two or three barks. A nice sow about 140 or so i guess. All the other dogs were off on there own hog. Even the hog was caught we let the catch dogs go to assure the catch. They hit hard and shut it down for good. We broke all the dogs off and tied the hog. We started heading back to where my weda dog went and sure enough all the dogs went that except the bulldogs and all hell broke loose. Dogs were baying and breaking baying and breaking. We could smell the hog and new it was big with 5 dogs baying. I will let mr robert pick up from here and tell what happened. But anyways i had a blast with some very cool guys and mr robert you guys are welcome to come whenever you want to hunt. Just give me a call to plan it. Y bro's dog is doing great and i hope your bulldog does the same.
