Looking for an older dog that's maybe lost a step or two but can still get it done. Here's what i'm looking for.
Age: 4+ years old
Sex: Prefer a male, but would take the right female
Breed: Doesn't matter
Range: 100-300 yards (I consider this short to medium range)
Grit: Loose baying but will put teeth on a hog to turn em.
Trash: must be 100% trash broke
Hunt Style: ATV or in front of a truck. If walk hunted before that isn't a bad thing.
This may sound weird to some but looking for a dog that doesn't have a ton of bottom. Hunt a lot of 300-600 acre places and can't afford to have a dog that's gonna stick with a runner for miles. Just need a good solid dog that i can run a couple inexperienced/younger dogs with. Maybe the dog ain't fast enough for your pack anymore or just putting some age on and you've got younger stock to take its place. Will expect a trial or see the dog hunt a couple times before purchase.
