kill three hogs on fri. between 100 & 150 lbs , on the last hog the two catch dogs got in the middle of a pond with a hog and I watched my male sink and not come up and my femail was done and going down also , I bailed in and grabed the one I could still see and shoved the hog out of my face and at the same time I felt jorge at mt feet at the bottom of the pond ,I gathered him up and went to the bank with both , very very cold water , Im glad it wasnt over my head , the dogs came out just fine , saterday we got skunked & sunday we got a 250lb sow and a giant 350 lb sow , my biggest to date , I had 52 miles on one dog & ran the pads off the other five, and they seem to be very quite tonight , Ill try to get craig to post a pic of the super fat sow

Glad to hear the dogs are ok a similar thing as happen to me not fun at all. Good job on the hunt.

Matt, i read some where the other day , a guy said he hadnt been hunting in so long he didnt even feal like a hog hunter any more,, i can dang shure relate to that.. i get all of these year end spenders out of the way and thats all gona change. |

Good catch, looks like a lot of sausage to make. We have to back our dogs, good job. I had to rescue two of my dogs a while ago, waded into chest hi water, it was thirty degrees and it took me thirty minutes or so to get them out. Frozen solid!!
