Started off late around 9am and hunted the best part of the ranch with no luck. The fog started to lift and we got a light breeze so we headed to a less populated area of the ranch, put the dogs in positon to work the wind.

Around 11am Sage and my Jagd Twinkle had hunted out and opened on a group of hogs 300yards off the road. We led the CDs Pickle and Doodle in and at 50yards cut them loose. As they were approaching the bay it broke and ran right by us. The bay dogs got her stopped in about 50yards and then the CD latched on shortly and locked her down. She stood 2x as tall as Pickle(75lb Amerigo) and just stood grunting!

After the Harvest I hissed Sage and Twinkle out and they quickly went out to 600yards where they bayed again and we made the hike leading the CDs in to catch the 80lb boar, I didnt bother with pics of him since we still had to dress and drag out our big sow for sausage making!

It was a great hunt the dogs and I were exhausted!

Hey Mike and Bobby,
Dont spend a lot of time online these days,  I work when I am not hunting or fishing.  Dont worry I have been putting my fair share of hogs on the ground!
