My Uncle and I decided to go to Texas to hunt and we got our friends (Sgt.Davis)-Chris, Marty aka (Rodney Carrington), Newbies J.P. Wise, and his buddy Chris to go. We drove down and hunted in the Whiteright area, with Lonnie Darwin and Gary Beck... We got on a couple of the coolest lookin spotted hogs ive ever seen. We had a double bay with a sow and a boar that were identical in size and color... we cut the catch dogs in hopes of a double down... they caught the sow and after about tenseconds the boar decided to break... we secured the sow and led the dogs to where we last saw the boar and cut em loose... after a few min we had a bay, we got to it and cut the catch dogs in to a briar thicket... hogs scattered and the bay broke... they caught a few min later about two hundred yards away on another sow same markings but smaller...

We drove down to Rice on New Years Day and met up with our friends Jake Harrington and Trey Chappa...
we cut the dogs loose and wound up getn on five good hogs, Chris's dog "Rocket" struck one and made a good showing, Jakes Hound tore up the woods striking the rest... my pups that i took did well and honored the bay and got alot of experience.

The hunt was a blast and a heck of a good way to spend New Years! We created a lifer out of J.P. he is still smiling...
