After watching that video I really miss my hounds, they were singing to em werent they?I would own nothing but hounds but in the area of the state I live in if you run an open dog you pretty much have to hunt alone. Those are some beautiful hounds you have there Cutter, are they full Black and Tans or is there some Bluetick in there?

Pure blueticks my friend. I just prefer them like Jesse Paul likes his men, big and dark with a deep voice.

These links seem to come up easier and much clearer.  Same videos though.  Enjoy the music.

I've never played hockey in my life. No hat trick here.  I could never match John's skills at that, so why try.  Believe it or not I actually did in fact go mono-e-mono with him. I slipped up behind him. As I eased in closer(within 4 feet), I whispered to catch him. Ira kept his attention long enough for me to reach underwater, and grab his tail. Once I had him off his rear legs, I slid the blade into the sweet spot. The stream turned red, and I knew I could let go. When I grabbed him, the dogs had dove on. They held him until his body went limp. They all let go, except Ira. It was funny, the current kept the hog moving, and Ira was still thinking he needed to hold on. I finally told him it was over.  Several times before I had made my move the boar bluffed me. It warmed my blood up quick-like.  We don't get snow often, so it really made it neat for the memory bank.

You know so many people, especially around where I am at, makes it known that a open mouth dog is a no-no.. Well if they only knew that it is possible to catch big hogs with open dogs.,, or if they would have met a ole man who I had the pleasure of being raised up with, they would certainly never question that again.. Good job Cutter,, love the sound of a BAWLLLL
