I picked up a pair of dogs. 7 month old cur x hound, and 5 month old bluetick x leopard. I introduced both dogs to a small hog and neither dog seemed to care about it. The hog even lunged at them a few times in the pen and both dogs just looked at it then went about trotting around.

The dogs have never been in the woods or have seen a hog but I was surprised to the lack of curiosity. Any input as far as what I can do to help them become interested in baying a hog?

Try putting an older bay dog no catch in the bay pen with then and see if that helps.  I would not worry about it too much they are still very young.

BMC or Catahoula sometimes will make better hunting dogs when crossed with hounds. I would not try to force these pups to bay. Put a good bay dog in the pen and tie the pups outside close to the pen where they can see what is going on. Do this every 2 or 3 weeks to see if they fire up. Once they want in let them in with an experienced dog. Just don't let them bay too long or they will get bored with it.
Some dogs take up to a year or longer to want to hunt or bay.

You need a small hog and build a rope sack or a wooden box with no wire to break teeth and get them used to siccing the small hog.  Lots of times I just used a raccon in similar sack or trap to get them fired off at baying game, it prob help for sure if you had a older dog to help get there interest up in the hog, dont put them inside a pen with a hog until you get them baying a trapped hog or coon.  You cn ruin them right here if you dump them inside a pen with big sow or boar that whips them bad,  under 20 pounds or no more than they weigh, I would not even let them bay a big hog from outside a pen unless they were in a truck bed dogbox or something where they could nto get charged the 1th time they see a hog.  Practice, Practice with small hog and teach them sic sic sic get that filthy hog son or something along those lines.

Yeller is right.  I've got a 20 pound pig and my 3 mths old pups didn't want anything to do with it until. I had it by the back feet and it was squealing.  I would hold it by the back feet and chase them around.  It is real controlled and they can't get hurt.  Now I just throw them in there at 4 mths old and they bay the crap out of it. I only let them bay for about 2 minutes and pull them out and give them treats.  They get pumped.

Just remember  Take it slow and don't let them get hurt.  They'll turn it on.
