More giant pictures... sorry, can't get my normal stuff to work... Anyways, made 2 hunts today, first was at the club where we caught the good boar, no sign. Went to my other hole and went to work. No Ellie meant Snappa had to step up(which I kinda wondered about..) but she did, AND trained pups at the same time! I was real impressed with her, all it took was taking away her crutch(Ellie) and that dog WILL HUNT  She's not as rangy without Ell, but she'll still find 'em when you get her close, just a little more walking on our part. Shiner and Chub took turns working with her and caught a young sow and boar respectively. Great training day, good to finally know Snapps isn't just a help dog  ..... Shiner's looking STRONG....  Snapps and Shiner on the little sow  My new catch dog Wyatt, all green eyed  (didn't have the heart to tell him he was on the wrong end )  Ol' Shnapps steppin' up(and still a little bug eyed )  |
