16 dogs!!!!! Huh? Sound like a cluster F to me. I went on a hunt like that ONCE and for me I like to see my dog work. Thats the part I like about hog hunting. With all those dogs its hard to make heads or tails of what ur dogs doing. But not everyone is in it for the same reason. Just dont see how there could be any good in running that many dogs.

You no why that wont ever happen to me? I wont let it. 16 dogs on the ground is insane. what if you got one of them young dogs in the pack that might not be cattle broke and she bays a cow and you got 15 other dogs going to its bay. Now that could be caos.

We had 12 on the ground one time and it was just a cluster f#$%. Looked like we were fox huntin or something. Needless to say we didnt catch a darn thing. I like about 3 maybe 4 on the ground at one time. That seems to work well with us.

I went on a quick walk with my gyp and cull catch dog. Just to watch them work together. I think cull might just be a RCD and not a good lead in. But 16 is crazy.

2 dogs per person but a groupe that size needs to just split up if you got enough land,i bet the hog was pretty much chewed up in the hams and shoulders, come on how many dogs can fit on a head?
