TNhillbilly,

If Dixie is the only pup mama didn't eat makes her lucky. Usually when the Mama eats the pups is because she is real nervous about something. A lot of the times it has to do with other dogs being to close or in the same kennel while she is having the pups. The best thing to do is set her up away from other dogs in a quiet place so she can have her pups without any stress.

This is what puzzled me, she was in a single brood pen all by herself and away from other dogs, and i put her in there a couple weeks before to give her time to adjust, so she wouldnt be stressed, and usually they will eat them all, but she left this one.

 The only thing i can figure is she just got too full. Unless there was something wrong with them but they all looked healthy to me.
