Hypothetically speaking... I was just wondering if I'm different, or do y'all respect other hog hunter's territory too? I mean if you know someone and all their buddies hunt an area do you try and stay away from there or do you hunt a place right in the middle of it anyways? I know there are several places that I could hunt, but I don't because I know other hunter's that hunt around the area. It's just a respect thing for me

I know what ya mean man. I know some good hog hunting spots but I do not go in their unless im with my buddy. Been knowing him way to long to lose a friendship over a hog hunting spot and like you said its a respect thing. I dont want anybody hunting my spots without me their either. I just recently received some info that somebody has been hunting my deer lease. I was not happy at all. I will find out who it is and it sure aint gonna be good believe me.

I'll hunt in the same general area as someone else but don't want to hunt property that even adjoins land that they hunt on. I just had a guy call me last week and ask if I hunted a certain place. I said yes, that place borders me on two sides and I usually hunt it once or twice a week when there are hogs in there and nearly every night during crop season. He said that he and a buddy had stopped by the landowner's house and got permission to hunt and said "I thought that was right next to your place". Kind of pissed me off, but the landowner gives permission to whoever wants to hunt because he hates hogs so much. On the other hand asking for permission on a place that they know I probably hunt and borders my place is in my opinion very disrespectful to me. I had better stop thinking about it or I'm really going to get mad and that never ends well!

I hunt on land that I have permission. If a friend has the neighboring land we can hunt together. I don't jump fences so if the hog crosses over it's theirs. You can show respect and hunt next door. Remember the land owner owns the land.
