Had a landowner call me bout some tearing up his yard so I went to help. They loved their grass they had signs that said do not park or drive on grass and the hogs just rutted it all up.lol
I turned Emily and Doc aloose and they bay it breaks..They get him stopped about 30 mins later.. turn the pit aloose and it breaks again.. I tried my best to catch her and not let her get tired trying to stay with the bay dogs but I couldn't. After, awhile of running through thickets trying to get him stopped I was able to get my hands on Emily and take her to water.. Her and Doc both where cut.. I had all the dogs back but one.. Lexi my pitbull.. I get to hollering and nothing. Then I hear somthing like a boar cutting his teeth bout 150 yards away.. I thought no way she could be caught on him and sure as the world she had him backed up to an old deer stand..It was like lexi and boar had a agreement not mess with each other. She was beat down and so was he, but she was still trying him.. I turned the dogs back out to help but this fighter was having to part of it. He was backed up there throwing dogs.. I thought he was going to get in the deerstand so I eased around the back going to leg him without any dogs on him but right as I was leaning down he shot out of there.. Was able to catch lexi thought she was all but give out and flew back to trailer to get another pitt turned him aloose and he a was caught but was gettting whooped lucking I was able to crawl in and get him legged. They rolled out went bout 100 yards and got this sow the owner wanted to eat her so we let him have at it..
I caught bigger hogs but this on faught more than any I have caught. I was super proud of lexi she has heart like no other. Landowners were happy as ever to see got some.
