Aggie is doing pretty well in her training. Ground driving is going well and I hope to try the harness on her soon for fit and see if the cart will work. I think it should all work out though. She has learned "get up", "gee", working on improving "haw", and bettering our "whoa". I won't actually be riding her just yet, but there's no reason she can't learn to pull the cart while I'm waiting on her body condition to come up. She is gaining weight by the day and the appetite is great. Cheers M

JP, He's gonna need a charolais, not a corriente. Aggie is woman and children sized, not man sized. She's like a pony mule.

She looks like a fun project Mandi! It shows your affection for Matt naming her after him! Thats sweet. Her progress is going to be fun to watch in the months to come! I have a feeling there will be more than one funny story with her and Chris in our future!

Ninja, Aggie is named like she is so that nobody racially profiles her and thinks she is a UT fan. Sorry Matt.
That photo was taken after I led her to the trailer, hopped her in, tied her up, and trailered her to our neighbor's Roping pen for some experience. I can imagine the show Sunday morning churchgoers got when they were watching me ground driving the cow with a pair of short six foot reins. I bet it looked sure enough nasty from a distance. I almost got pooped on twice. I am sure there will be some good stories as we go.
Krystal, Aggie will likely be the only cow we have to be AI'd to a low birth weight trophy longhorn. She is too pretty to be used on a beef bull or a corriente. I need to post pics of Year Two, our mini longhorn bull.
Cheers M
