32" toro, or you could get a 72" Deere zero run like i have! Smiley

No, toro is a really good one and i don't thnk you would have any problems out of it.  will it be for commercial use?

When I was ages 12-18 I had a lawn/landscape business. I started at 12 with a Kubota 20" push mower and my bicycle Grin. I used it on my own for several years. When I went out on a larger scale, 2 lawn crews and one landscape crew, I purchased Encore walk behinds in 36" and 48". The last walk behinds I ever bought were Yazoo, but I believe they might have been made by Encore for Yazoo.  Kawasaki gas engines on all of them, except the original Kubota push mower.

Here's the list of what I used at the time... It may be of no use, as that was some years ago, but they were quality items at the time, and probably still worth looking into for commercial use.

Encore / Yazoo walk behind
Shindaiwa string trimmers
Echo blowers and hedge clippers

Now that I just maintain my own lawn, I use a cheap 50" zero turn Troy Built,a  Stihl fs120 string trimmer, and lots of Round-Up so I don't have to trim very often. Wink

Here is a god rule of thumb. If you want to buy something that will last just look at what the people use that make a living using them. eXmark is ahead by a wide margin here in east Texas.

Been doin lawn maint/landscapin for 10 yrs now and I'd have to say that Toro makes the best walk behind on the market. There are alot of good mowers out there(yazoo, scagg, exmark) but you just cant kill a Toro. A Toro Proline 36 in. is what we use on a daily basis for gettin through gates/backyards here in Florida. I'm not a salesman but they do make the best walk behind in my opinion.

Having worked on yard crews, and worked at a mower repair shop, my choice without a doubt would be Ferris mowers. They are built like a tank and extremely easy to service. Toro's are pretty good and would be my second choice, but in my personal opinion nowhere close to a Ferris. And also a Kawasaki engine would be my top choice regardless of the brand of mower.

I got a big yard and wore out 2 Snapper riding lawn mowers. The lady that lives next door has a landscaping business and owns a bunch of eXmarks that run all the time. I really wanted an eXmark but just could not bring myself to hit the hind pocket for 7,000.00.

I buy a comercial Cub Cadet and that was a mistake. It just could not handle it. Wound up going to the shop several times and finally the transmission went out at 400 hours.

Bit the  bullet and bought the eXmark and so far so good. It does a really good job and the part I really like is the ride.
