I headed out Thursday afternoon to spend a few days with Jesse Paul. We ended up with 12 hogs for the weekend... one boar, a bunch of sows and a few shoats. It was tough hunting this weekend, hot and humid with the wind blowing 100 miles an hour. We started out Friday morning in the mountains. Had a good race over a mountain and into the next canyon. By the time we got to the bay the dogs were cookin'... so we called it a day till that night. The rest of the weekend, we hunted down South... wheat fields and South Texas brush country. Jesse, I sure enjoyed it... look forward to the next one. Didn't get a whole lot of pics, but here's a few...

Jesse's cousin stickin' one...

I sure was happy with my other two pups first time in the woods. Next time I come out, they oughta be gettin' it done. Grin Look forward to hunting with those pups of yours... they sure do have the "want to".

I should have stayed another day. The spring break traffic coming out of San Antonio was a mess. I finally made it to Flatonia and took my normal back roads home.
