catch dog-- a dog that catches any hog in any situation and doesn't let go. <----thats a period
running catch dog-- same as above but is fast, athletic, has great heat tolerance and stamina. some have the ability to find their own. some hunt with the other dogs. does not bay.

Strike Dog -- a dog that will find and work a track by itself , also will bay until the help dogs get there.This is the #1 dog it gets everything started by useing its nose to locate where a hog has been and then finds it.
Help Dog -- A dog that will help bay a hog and help hold the hog by baying or biting until the catch dog gets there.
