Chance can use a Jack Russel Terrier to catch Shocked I would say alligator mouth and hummingbird a$$. But I ain't gonna talk no smack. I would like to know what people are using them for. I could guess but I will be watching this.

Ask that celebrity dude, BUMP who won the Halletsville contest last weekend.  He has a few Jagds that I would put up against any hog dog.  I would call them long range strike dogs who get rough when needed and catch when the bulldog arrives.

This about sums it up correctly.  The ones I keep are like that.  Some are all catch, and in my opinion a 20 pound catch dog is joke.

I have a video at the back page of my website of jagds in action,  Google "Goatcher wildlife" to find it or use link below.

One of mine is straight catch.   (is 23 lbs still a joke?)haha!  She catches hard and will hang on like a tiny pit.  Best hog hunter I've ever seen, but maybe not the best hog dog.  I know, she won't be retiring at an old age.  In the meantime she can find hogs like no other.

A friend of mine bought one to use as a squirrel dog. She would tree squirrels and everything else in the woods. He gave her to me for a hog dog. She would jump on any hog of any size, at any place, at any time. She would jump on a big cur dog if he jacked with her.

They have outstanding stamina. The problem I had with mine was that she would not come in and load up when I got ready to go. She would just get out of range and not let me catch her. That's when I left her in the woods because I do not put up with that.

A guy called me and said he found her a couple of days later and I told him to keep her or whatever because I was done. She wound up down in the cane fields in Louisana because a guy called me about her. He asked if she would bay a hog and I told him yes and she would catch too. As far as I know she is still down there unless she got killed.

I would not mind having one if it would mind me.

I have always wanted one. I think that it would be great to own a hog dog that you could carry under one arm while running through the woods. LOL  Grin \They would be lighter on the wheeler and probably feed less!
