Been back to training pups and young dogs. Made a round at big E's deer lease in Huntsville. His Blaster and Goose dogs found this boar hog pretty quick and team rough didn't let him go anywhere. We changed him out and sent him on his way. We actually carried roscoe, Big E's old dog with cancer and tumor in his jaw. We dumped him and 3 6 month old pups at a feeder and a few 100 yards later we had a small sounder bayed. We only ended up with a shoat out of the whole deal. Good for the pups and letting the old man do it just a lil more

Place got canceled for Saturday so we slept in an took care of chores, but it's hard to sit around on the weekend and not hunt, especially since we've spent all year legging the dogs up and they're finally getting there. So me, Nickshsu11, Marshall mims and a girl I went to highschool with took everypup we had between 17 month and 6 months. It was 3 o clock in the afternoon and dry, but it's better than sitting at home. Went out to my deer lease in New Waverly, right Briar finds a good hog but as puppy hunts go. This one didnt get lined out, bc after a mile or so Big e's two Cow bred catahoulas found a group of cows and through everything off. We got them back to hunting easily and went to the back. Briar went into the switch cane abt 300 and everything else went to him. Few min later they had a lil sow mauled down. Great hunt
for the conditions and players. Ready for some more puppy training this weekend

Jessicas first hunt!

My "East Texas Trash" dog as one of the members pm'd and expressed concerns over seeing his backbone in one of his previous pics. The guy didn't stop to think that this dog has been on over 30 hunts, run 400 + miles and already been on over 100 hogs this year. Good hog dogs are athletes, and most human like dog athletes are solid muscle and very little fat body fat! Especially with as dry and hot as it's been we don't want our dogs to overheat.. This dog has already had two instances where he almost did

6 month old pups that ran the track and were caught with everything else
