Went out yesterday evening with some buddies gonna try and catch some little puppy starters in the field with tuff my 6 month ybmc but loaded up my older dogs just incase we did get on a big one. There was no pigs in the field so we kicked tuff and ny ace dog tiger out and tiger went out about 500yrds and bayed up a sow and some young tuff caught one and tiger caught another about 30lbs a piece so we load them up to head him and sure enough right as we were leaving this boar ran across the road in front of us. So we made the mistake of dumping the hole box including tuff who is way to young and gritty to be on a hog like this ...caught the hog real quick but when I got there to dip and tie him I noticed that tuff was cut bad (he was still caught on the ear with only on bulldog)..ended up sticking the hog and rushing him to meet the vet then came back to get the hog...wasn't gone but an hour and a half and when we got back the 250 plus hog had been drug about 15 yards and was completely gutted I'll try and get some better pics when get off work...anyone have a good way of getting the boars mouth back open after it locks up?

Rough and tuff is right...you shoulda seen that little sucker hanging off that big boars ear bleeding all over...never let go either and my friend that carried him back to the truck said when set him on the tail gait he was still trying to get back to us but couldn't walk... Thanks Monty your gonna have to get down here and help catch some of the big boar hogs before I get em all...these are all still off that same motgumry ranch

Thanks guys the vet said last night the he was feeling better and had eaten a little and drank his water but he still wanted to keep him another day or to to watch it cause it was still bleeding a little through the drain tube and he want to make sure the stitches hold....either way he won't be hunting again probly for another year.....I tried to get some better pics but that hog is nasty and the jaw us licked up....that first pic doesn't do those teeth any justice at all
