Put a couple hunts together close to home for the long weekend.  Hot, dry and windy = horrible tracking conditions.  Managed to get a couple small boars and shoats.  Enough to make the kids happy and keep some hog in the dogs noses.

Got into a bunch of runners Friday night North of Springtown.  This one made the mistake of trying to bust across a pasture when Leo and Track caught him.

Sunday morning hunt with Andy.

Snapped a couple pics while waiting on the dogs to come back in.

Track and Chunk cooling off.

Busted a big group and had hogs and dogs everywhere.  Sam singled out a sow in some thick briars.  Andy gathered up dogs and came to me.  Dumped them out  - Tracker and Yellar peeled off in the opposite direction and started their own bay.  Bulldogs couldn't get through to the first hog - she bolts and Sam picks her back up 855 yds away.  Yellar, Dallas and my little bulldog go to Track and Yellar and we end up with a little red boar that will be a good trainer for pups.

These kids are troopers.  Hunted till 3:30 am Saturday morning and were back at it Sunday at 5am.  They'd hunt everyday if they could.
