I know most if not all of you on here have quarter horses, but just wondering if im the only one thats ever rode a racking horse.
I Havnt been on a horses back in yrs for personal reasons but spent many of days fooling with horses.
  There are a few quarter horses up here, and wannabe cowboys, but probly 85% of the horses around here are racking or walking horses.
let the comments fly.

My favorite horse to hunt off is a 13.5 hand fox trotter. Don't spill a drop of my tea and move fast and smoothly through the woods! QH are rough, but more like a Jeep than a Cadillac.

Aladatrot has gaited horses along with her quarter horses. No racking horses... She used to show and train saddleseat, so she was predominately dealing with Saddlebreds, hackneys, arabs.

There are quite a few guys in the Houston area with standardbreds, you will see them riding along major highways all tacked up. Seen a few brush track races up in Leon county.

Craig on here has some paso and fox trotter mules that Cadillac through the woods.

LOL!!! Been on a few of them too, but no.
I love a good fast racking horse. Good smooth ride and can rack all day. I aint much on them big fancy walkin horses with them big pads on. To me thats just ignorant. But them people will pay hundreds of thousands of $$ for them just to watch them prance around a ring. To each their  own, I guess.
