 Just seeing if anyone had a form that they get landowners to sign that releases them from any libility while you are on their place. I had one but now I cant find the doc on my computer.

GUESTS LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

________________________________________ (hereinafter referred to as "OWNER").
Guests acknowledges and understand that no warranty, either express or implied, is made by the Owner as to the condition of the Owners Premises. This document is to warn Guest that dangerous conditions, risks and hazards do exist on the owner’s premises. Guest acknowledges that hunting and other activities on rural property such as the Owners Premises does have unknown hazards and risks and can result in injury or property damage to the person/persons involved in these activities. GUESTS acknowledge the many possibilities and sources of injury or damage, and he/she comes on the Owners Premises with full knowledge that hazards and risks exist.
As a part of the consideration for being allowed by Owner to enjoy hunting activities on the Owners Premises, GUEST HEREBY INDEMNIFIES (RELEASES) OWNER from all liability for personal injury (including wrongful death) or property damage suffered by GUEST which is caused, in whole are in part, by any activity or condition on the Owners Premises. GUEST understands this agreement and has agreed that neither he/she, nor his heirs or personal representatives will be able to sue OWNER or his associates for any injury or property damage that GUEST suffers while on the Owners Premises.
GUEST INDEMNIFIES AND RELEASES OWNER FROM ALL LIABILITY.
As used in this release agreement, the term Guest/Guests will include any minors in the Guests care while on the Owners Premises. All Guests who bring minors understand the Owner is not responsible for the care or safety of minors. The Guests who bring minors onto the Owners Premises assumes the responsibility for watching and caring for the minor’s safety and guarding against hazards at all times.
GUEST HAS READ THIS DOCUMENT AND UNDERSTANDS IT. HE/SHE IS SIGNING IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.

COUNTY OF:
This Hunting Lease Agreement is made by an between  [Landowner] hereinafter called LESSOR and ___________________________ [Hunter] hereinafter called LESSEE.


GAME TO BE HUNTED AND COMPLIANCE WITH LAW
1. LESSOR does hereby lease to LESSEE, for the purpose of hunting FERAL HOGS, PREDATORS, AND VARMINTS in accordance with the laws, rules, and regulations of the Texas Parks and Wildlife.  This lease allows Lessee to hunt the above mentioned animals by any legal means.  This may include but is not limited to the use of firearms, archery equipment, atv's, motor vehicles, traps, dogs, and/or other legal means. The following described premises located in _______ County, Texas:

TERMS OF LEASE
2. The term of this lease is for the 2009 off-season, which is scheduled to begin on or about the 19th day of January and ending on or about September 30th, 2009.
 
By signing this lease agreement, I herby acknowledge that I have knowingly and willingly entered a Hunting Lease Agreement, or become a party bound by the terms and conditions of a Hunting Lease Agreement by and between myself (hunter, hereinafter the Lessee, whether one or more) and  (landowner/lease manager, hereinafter the Lessor, whether one or more)
 
This document serves to warn me that dangerous conditions, risks and hazards do exist.  My presence and activities on the leased premises expose both me and my property/guest to dangerous conditions, risks and hazards, including but not limited to: poisonous snakes, insects, spiders, feral hogs, domestic livestock, potentally dangerous deep water, persons with firearms, and vehicles.  I hearby state that I expressly assume all such dangers, risks, and hazards.
 
Due to the dangerous environment surrounding feral hog hunting and the manpower needed to successfully and safely remove feral hogs by (but not limited to) means such as trapping and hog-dog hunting, each Lessee is permitted to bring one guest with them onto the leased property during each vist.  This guest is allowed to conduct the same type of hunting activities that are afforded to the Lessee under this lease agreement. The lessee is responsible for the safety and actions of the guest while on the property.
 


                                                                   PAYMENT
3. $ is to be paid to LESSOR by LESSEE before hunting may take place.  $ is the total (one-time) payment to secure the leese for the above mentioned term.

                                         INDEMNIFICATION
4. LESSEES agree to protect and defend indemnity and hold LESSOR blameless from any and all liability, loss, damage, personal injury (including death), claims, demands, causes of action of every kind and character, without limit and without regard to the cause or causes thereof or the negligence of any party or parties arising in connection herewith in favor of: 1) any LESSEES hereto; 2) any employees of LESSEES; 3) any business invitees of LESSEES; 4) any guests of LESSEES; and 5) any person who comes to the lease premises with the expressed or implied permission of LESSEES.

[NOTE: This liability release must be on the same page as the signatures, and it is the landowner's responsibility to ensure that each lessee has read and understood its meaning.]

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have hereunto caused this Agreement to be properly executed this _____________________ day of _________________, 20 _____.
