Never done it because I've never known anywhere to get enough money to make it worth while... until now Cheesy  It appears the local livestock market is giving $.60 a pound for wild hogs right now... I may have to give this saling thing a try Wink   What have yall in Texas been getting a pound?

Around where I'm from (about 1 hr north of Abilene) the most i've heard of recently is only .10-.15 / lb.  Not hardly worth sellin one at a time around here.  You sure have to have a load to make it worth your while to drive over to a buyin station.  But if they were bringing .60 / lb you bet.  Sell all you can.  Sure helps pay for dog food and expenses while hunting.

im in southeast texas and i know off hand of 2 places i can sell em dead for 50. to 60. a pound and one place that i can sell em live for up to 75. a pound..........dependin on weight

Bosque county .10 to .20, 250lbs and over is ...20. Best to find locals that want them to eat, a small sow I can get around 50 to 80 bucks.

Sold a few last week. Off the top of my head, I got .15 cents/lb for a boar that weighed 205. The buyer said that they were paying me at last weeks prices though and the real price would have been .10 cents/lb.
