Never done it because I've never known anywhere to get enough money to make it worth while... until now It appears the local livestock market is giving $.60 a pound for wild hogs right now... I may have to give this saling thing a try What have yall in Texas been getting a pound?

Around where I'm from (about 1 hr north of Abilene) the most i've heard of recently is only .10-.15 / lb. Not hardly worth sellin one at a time around here. You sure have to have a load to make it worth your while to drive over to a buyin station. But if they were bringing .60 / lb you bet. Sell all you can. Sure helps pay for dog food and expenses while hunting.

Bosque county .10 to .20, 250lbs and over is ...20. Best to find locals that want them to eat, a small sow I can get around 50 to 80 bucks.

I may have to give this saling thing a try What have yall in Texas been getting a pound? Sold a few last week. Off the top of my head, I got .15 cents/lb for a boar that weighed 205. The buyer said that they were paying me at last weeks prices though and the real price would have been .10 cents/lb.
